ANOTHER CHANCE TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK

Hey all. If you missed the chance to see the "HIDE AND SEEK" exhibition last year at the Dax Centre in Melbourne, which featured my works "VENOM" and "THE BEAST WITHIN", I have just been informed that the exhibition will now be traveling around regional Australia. The exhibition is now on show at the La Trobe regional gallery in Morwell until the 19th of May 2013. And will travel to Wagga Wagga in the near future. Watch this space for more information.  Cheers Gav

JUST A TASTE OF THINGS TO CUM

Homoeroticism refers to the sexual attraction between members of the same sex, either male–male or female–female. The concept differs from the concept of homosexuality: it refers specifically to the desire itself, which can be temporary, whereas "homosexuality" implies a more permanent state of identity or sexual orientation.

ART CAN BE YOUR VOICE

The Haven Art Project was a community based arts project aimed at supporting the mental health of mental health service consumers.

Using the relatively new approach of Art Therapy, a safe and supportive environment was  created so that the participants could freely express themselves, without the feeling of being Judged.

A range of mediums were explored in the sessions including: clay, paint, pastel, collage/mixed media sculpture enabling individuals to improve their emotional well being whilst encouraging social inclusion through the use of art.

This particular project ran for 16 weeks starting June 2012 and finishing September 2012 and was run by a qualified Art Therapist.

This exhibition is a culmination of these artworks.
